We had to get our experts involved on this one. Our experts tell us that intermittently your water temperature can peak at 130°F. Long term, your operating water shouldn’t be higher than 100°F. Water can evaporate at any temperature between its boiling and freezing points. Between those points, the temperature of the water doesn’t matter. We don’t recommend using boiling water in your evaporative cooler.
